Detati Hosts SVAMA's Event on International Marketing
The Silicon Valley American Marketing Association presented an exciting panel on International marketing that will provided valuable insights and best practices for successfully marketing abroad. Detati Communications hosted inaugural event for Smart Grid Council of Silicon Valley. The event focused on Empowering Consumers to Go Green.
The "Empowering Consumers to Go Green" event provided the opportunity for entrepreneurs, engineers, consultants and investors to network and learn about how vendors and utilities are addressing the need to “Go Green” with energy efficient products that customers can adopt and embrace. The topics for the evening were What's Really Happening with the Smart Grid and Consumers Have the Power to Make a Big Difference.
"It was a great inaugural event, the turnout and especially the networking afterwards at Detati was off the charts," said Ken Crittendon, the Smart Grid Council's Co-Founder. "A lot's happening in Washington DC, we aim to influence the standards that support Silicon Valley's innovation and help accelerate the Smart Grid's implementation."
The featured speakers included Mike Coop, a 20-year high tech veteran and founder of heyCoop, LLC, (www.heycoop.com) a consultancy focused primarily on residential Smart Grid standards and policy issues; and Yvan Castilloux, of People Power (www.peoplepowerco.com) who is leading standards development and is marketing the GreenXHome product to utilities and manufacturers.
